Coprophagia is a behavioral condition with puppies and dogs consuming their own feces. It is a common habit in some dogs which can be distressing for the pet owner and unhygienic for the pet. Mark & Chappell Stool Repel-UM Tablets have been specially formulated to help deter this behavior. When the active ingredients are ingested by the animal they become activated in the small intestine and may help to produce a stool which is unpalatable to the animal.

The active chemical called capsaicin causes a burning sensation and inflammation of the mucous membranes. This is the active ingredient that helps to repel the animal from eating its own fecal waste. |
| Alpha-Amylase | This is an enzyme that breaks down the carbohydrates, improving the animal’s digestive performance. This should make the animals' waste matter less attractive to eat. |

Oleoresin capsicum 45,500 mg/kg
Natural flavouring 15,000 mg/kg
Directions:
Puppies & Dogs: Suitable for dogs and puppies aged 6 months and over. Give one tablet per 10kg of bodyweight daily for 2 weeks after coprophagy is first observed. If results are not satisfactory, double the quantity of tablets and administer for 2 more weeks. As a prevention, continue to feed 1 tablet daily. Increasing the physical activity of your pet and feeding a high quality diet may also assist in stopping this behaviour.
