What Is It ?
Bug N'Out is a natural, non-toxic biting insect repellent spray. This product
uses a 4% concentration of Citronella Oil to safely and effectively repel
all biting insects such as fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, gnats, black flies,
chiggers, and horse flies. Further, Bug N'Out uses a natural carrier and binding
system to maintain the effectiveness of Citronella for up to 8 hours per
application. Bug N'Out can be used safely and effectively on any mammal.
Why Is A Natural Repellent Safer than Chemicals or Natural Insecticides?
Insecticides (whether natural or chemical) are poisonous, and designed to
kill bugs. Since they are poison, we believe that they are dangerous to your
pet.
They are also dangerous to people who come in contact with your pet. (A child,
hugging your dog or cat). Remember, if the instructions tell you to wear
gloves and not breathe the vapors - it is not safe. By contrast, Bug N'Out
is a safe,
nontoxic repellent. It is not designed to kill insects, but repel them. Bug N'Out

Bug N' Out is Deet Free
BugN' Out can be used on dogs, cats, children and pregnant women without
worry. Although considered safe by the EPA and American Academy of Pediatrics
(AAP),
the CDC cautions to avoid application of Deet based products to the skin.
The AAP further recommends limiting use of deet on children. Additional
organizations concerned with the use of deet include the National Pesticide
Information
Center
and National Poison Center. Cases of severe reactions such as skin problems
to products containing deet have been related to the misuse of the product
such as swallowing, using over broken skin, and prolonged use.

This product works great at keeping flying insects off your pet. It smells good too. The only problem I have found is that the bottle doesn't last very long so you need to order several bottles to last for the summer or flying insect season.
